Airlink is currently offering apprenticeship opportunities for 2025 in Johannesburg, with applications closing on 17 February 2025. These programs are designed to provide hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance across various disciplines.
Available Apprenticeship Positions:
- Apprentice (On the Job Training):
- Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining a fleet of modern turbine-powered aircraft across all disciplines as part of the On Job Training (OJT) program.
- Requirements:
- Completion of a 35-week theoretical training at a reputable academy in mechanical, avionic, or other applicable trades with a minimum pass mark of 75%.
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification with pure Mathematics and a Science subject, each with a result of 65% or greater.
- Prior hands-on maintenance experience on live aircraft within an AMO/Engineering environment is advantageous.
- Apprentice (First Year):
- Responsibilities: Complete the first year of Basic Training at an approved facility in the selected trade.
- Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate with pure Mathematics and a Science subject, each with a result of 65% or greater.
- Must be unemployed and willing to commit to a 3-year apprenticeship program.
