Air Products South Africa is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Cylinder Truck Driver at their Port Elizabeth facility.
Position Details:
- Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape
- Contract Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections.
- Safely load and offload gas cylinders and minitanks.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery and collection of products to and from customer sites.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping of the vehicle.
- Adhere to Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality (SHERQ) standards.
- Perform general ad hoc duties as required.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
- Valid EC (Code 14) driver’s license with Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Valid forklift license.
- Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate.
- At least 5 years of experience in heavy-duty driving.
- Experience in the transportation and handling of dangerous goods.
- Medically fit to perform physical work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when required.
- Ability to produce written reports on vehicle fitness and delivery documentation.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
