Netsurit is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Level 1 Junior Security Analyst. This role is pivotal in assisting with the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect our information systems and data assets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor incoming event queues for potential security incidents using Azure Sentinel, following operational procedures.
- Perform initial investigation and triage of potential incidents; escalate or close incidents as appropriate.
- Utilize SOC tools for historical analysis, such as conducting searches using Azure Sentinel Log Analytics.
- Assist in monitoring the company’s network and systems for security breaches and potential threats.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Assist in investigating security incidents, including those related to data breaches.
- Provide support for security-related projects and initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining security tools and systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and anti-virus software.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC are advantageous.
- Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, preferably Azure Sentinel.
- Understanding of network and system security principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
